The History of Decayed Brigade. Back in 2013 Rick West and his crew were putting together a new Los Angeles Halloween themed convention. They named it Scare L.A. and located it on a floor of the Reef/ LA Mart. Being a fan of the Knott’s Scary Farm Slider shows that happened before the Hanging for years, Rick thought it would be fun to have one at his convention. He contracted out Willie May and the Scream Team productions. And Scream Team contacted several of the starting members of Decayed Brigade to help them put on the show. They put the show together pretty quickly and there were a lot of hiccups that come from doing a performance like that for the first time. But it was a big hit. The next year Rick bypassed the middle man and went straight to the sliders.

He asked them to put on the show for 2014. That is the year Decayed Brigade was formed. Steve “Heretic” Warmbier came up with the name.
